We stopped for a quick bathroom break on our way home from the beach and ended up wishing we could stay longer. Nova had immaculate vibes, shady trees, a great outdoor space with a taco truck, and zero wait. The cortado was perfect—smooth, balanced, exactly what I needed. Solid spot all around. Would recommend!

So far my favourite coffee spot in Mobile. Nice blend, good flavour, nicely prepared. Nice outdoors sitting (specially if you like squirrels)

This is a great place to get coffee. This is the kind of place you just make your coffee shop and forget all the others. While there are an abundance of coffee shops these days, not many of them, A. Have Cortados and B. Have the skill to actually make one well. The owner, Tim, was incredibly kind and very skilled. We came through from out of state and anytime I’m rolling through Mobile, I’m stopping here. Thanks Cortado King of Alabama!

Amazing atmosphere, seating, and music. We very much enjoyed the vibes here. We ordered a cappuccino and hot coffee which were delicious and had great presentation. The blueberry pastry was yummy. Would visit again. Worth a try. The taco truck outside has wonderful food. We also ordered brunch drinks that were amazing.

Fast & friendly Service Plenty of seating inside & out Handicap accessible Child friendly Coffee, coffee drinks, wine, beer & soda Food: muffins, pastries - taco truck parked along the side. Wifi Cash, credit, Apple Pay Nova is nestle in Mid town just off the main road. It features outdoor and indoor seating, each are comfortable and spacious. Mellow music plays in the background. Outside seating is covered and surrounded by shade trees. A string of lights helps set the mood. Fans are in place for warmer days and nights. Service is fast, friendly and knowledable. They have an assortment of milk to fit your need/want. Food items are muffins, croissants, cookies such. Beer, soda and ice tea are available as well.

my husband and I are on our way to florida & stopped in Mobile on the way & we own a coffee shop, trailer & cart SO we are naturally picky coffee drinkers, their espresso = dialed IN , atmosphere = top tier , customer service = perfect! 10/10 recommend!

Great specialty coffee shop! It seems like they lean third-wave but also offer a little something for everyone. I tried one of the fall seasonals — “Siena,” molasses and orange — half sweet as a hot latte for here, and it was really tasty. As a barista, it’s easy for me to be disappointed at other coffee shops, but the execution on my drink was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though it took a while to order on a Saturday as it was quite busy, my drink was ready very quickly. And I really enjoyed the atmosphere as a hangout or study space. Nova was recommended to me by several friends and I agree — you’ve got to check this spot out when in Mobile! Back when I used to come visit the area in high school there were no good coffee shops around, so I’m very happy there have been a few additions to the coffee scene since I last visited!

Literally one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to. Whenever I’m in the region I will drive just for this place. They know coffee, are very friendly, and the vibe is perfect… love, love, love this place! Highly recommend anything but def try the espresso tonic! So good!

Looked at about 50 other coffee shops in Mobile and none had a better menu/atmosphere than this one. So glad we chose this spot to stop for a pick-me-up! The seasonal drink menu was unique and sounded great & they use ceremonial matcha!! The croissant tasted like it came from Sam's Club but the muffin was deliiicious. Will definitely be back if ever in the area again!
